Last week, the Event Planning and Production Team hit the skies to travel to Maui in order to produce and coordinate a large, multiple day corporate event with high profile guests. Not only were there a number of challenges in simply getting the equipment to the island in a timely manner, but the event itself featured a screen that measured an impressive 80 feet across. It is no simple task to setup and prepare a large production like this mere days before the event opens.
The corporate content for the event included over 100 video rolls and hundreds of PowerPoint slides. The content didn't end there, however. In addition to the content presented by the client, there were keynote speakers with impressive credentials that took the stage. These included former director of the New York Stock Exchange, Ken Langone and the 66th United States Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleezza Rice. Both commanded the stage managed by the IML team.
Not stopping there, the event also included a performance from Grammy winning band, Train. The IML Team assisted in coordinating the band's setup and staging allowing for a great show that went on into the night, energizing the conference for the next day.
Overall, the event was a complete success. It proved that no distance is an obstacle for the EPP IML Team to orchestrate a highly produced event featuring big names and performances on stage and happy, pleased attendees off stage.
