Interactive Media Lab has been working with Xan Barksdale Baseball, LLC over the past few months in developing the iPhone/iPod Touch application Catcher's Performance Summary that is designed to record and track statistics for baseball catchers. This robust applications allows the user to track multiple catchers in multiple games, recording important stats that can be output as a report for the coaches and players.

The app is able to take the data input by the user and calculate accurate percentages that allow the catchers to evaluate their game performance. The user interface is very intuitive and allows the person tracking the catcher to insert data quickly and easily for a number of stats.





We at IML actually had fun working on this application. Beyond the complexity of the programming involved in making sure the data was recorded and calculated correctly, making sure the user could easily manage and input that data was extremely challenging.
