JHSMH? Yeah, There's an App for That.
Interactive Media Lab worked to develop new mobile applications for Jewish Hospital and St. Mary's HealthCare which have been recently released. IML developed the app with Breakout Creative, one of JHSMH advertising agency resources, providing useful tools for health while promoting the forward-thinking for which the healthcare network is known.
The new app is available on iPhone and Blackberry formats and it covers a range of functionality including:
- Find a Physician/ER
- Register for Events
- Current News
- Health News and Tips
- Food Diary and Calorie Tracker
- BMI Calculator
The app was programmed to leverage a combination of data that currently exists in other web based communications that JHSMS uses. We integrated content such as Twitter, and News RSS feeds and Physician Directory information with custom programmed functionality that happens locally on the mobile device such as the BMI Calculator and Food Diary and Calorie Tracker.
The new app was strongly promoted and well received with hundreds of downloads recorded very early in its introduction to the public. To download the iPhone, or Blackberry app for free, just follow the links below:
