The 38th Annual Louie Awards ceremony presented by The Advertising Federation of Louisville was held on Friday, February 24th. The Louie Awards recognize those in the advertising community that have contributed original work that stands out from the crowd. There are numerous categories that businesses and individuals can submit work to in order to showcase their best pieces from the year. Interactive Media Lab was included with the lot of submissions this year for a number of categories.
This year, IML walked away with three Silver Louie awards for the 2012 competition. All three awards were for the video that we at IML produced to promote ourselves and our new office (albeit in a tongue-and-cheek manner) this summer prior to an open house event. The video was met with chuckles and delight and an overall thumbs up. So we proceeded to enter it in the Louie competition.
The video won for all three categories that it was entered that included, Internet Commercials, Video Sales Presentation and Self-Promotion, Broadcast. Interactive Media Lab is no stranger to winning awards, including a Louie Award or two in the past. But it is always an honor and privilege to be recognized for hard work that you're proud of.
